Have you ever found yourself involved in a situation that is so surreal you continue it just because of it’s ridiculousness? But all the while you are saying to yourself (or possibly out loud, if you are me) WTF? You guys, I just found myself in one of those situations. It was bizarre, to say the least.

So, as I was sitting here just now catching up on a little blog reading, I received an IM on my Yahoo.  Because I am naive and left my profile visible this IM was from a random person, and because I am stupid, I chatted a bit because this random person was a fellow AMMO troop who had left Kunsan the month before I got here, and we knew a few of the same people.  So, you know, it was “where is so-and-so now” and “blahdy blahdy small talk” then BLAMMO! The surreal.  Now, because I feel you absolutely MUST share in this moment of surrealness with me, I kindly reproduced the message thread.  You can thank me later.  And ohhhh yes, you are welcome.  (And YES I am aware that I should have been done with him immediately but some things are just too ridiculous to drop. Also, many bad words ahead, and most of them come from me.)

And that was when I was like…holy crap this is unbelievable and SO NOT WORTH MY TIME and blocked him and changed my profile to invisible or unavailable or whatever. THIS is the type of person I work with – not ALL of them, mind you – but a large enough percentage to count.  Ahhhhh you GUYS what an idiot!  Oh wait – lol u guyz wht n idiot.

The best part though – I didn’t even have to think about something to post tonight.  Thanks i0wa2317.  You’re swell.
