Alright - dialup internet. This is why I haven’t been able to post. It took me at least 25 minutes to log in just now - I’m cruising along at a speedy 24 kbps.
However! I absolutely HAD to say: WHO was right about LETTUCE? Huh? HUH? Let’s see you make fun of my eccentricities now. You’ll see. Moths - trust me.

Pomgirl - lettuce met the same fate as spinach, falling at the hands (tentacles? cilia? I didn’t pay attention during biology) of the dreaded e.coli. The moths were probably behind it.
