Ohhh….I don’t know.
A word of advice: don’t take Tylenol PM if you are not planning on getting at least 10 hours of sleep, because then you too will wake up groggy and sick and unable to function, even after your morning cappuccino, and it won’t matter if it’s a double or not. Or maybe that’s just me. Well, anyway, not that that happened to me last night or anything. I’m just saying.
So! One of our cars finally arrived! Now I can settle in to my very cushy work hours of 7…ish to 3:30….ish. I LOVE THIS. I can go to the gym when I want! I can go home for lunch when I want! I can master the traffic circles…WHENEVER I WANT. Traffic circles, you guys. TWO LANE traffic circles. I am a pro. I could become a stock car racer. Seriously. I was scared to drive here…no. I am going to be honest with you, and you know I always am, I was scared to drive period, because when I was in Korea, I did not drive one time. Ever. It was starting to become one of the things that keeps me awake at night. Which is stupid, right? Because HOW long have I been driving? Um, twenty years. And Barry Read taught me how to drive, and (that’s my dad, by the way) the Barry Read school of driving does NOT MESS AROUND. When he taught me how to drive, he taught me HOW TO DRIVE. One gear at a time. Oh yes. First gear today, second gear tomorrow. Third? We’re waiting a week on that one. After second, I snuck the car out to visit friends, and got stuck coming home, on a hill. Dead stuck. I had tried third, AHEAD OF SCHEDULE. My dad was so hardcore about teaching me how to drive he somehow disabled all other gears, I swear. Or….I am just highly susceptible to suggestion. Hmm. Okay, back to the present, I finally said to myself, oh my GOD, you are being really dumb, you KNOW HOW TO DRIVE and just did it. Now I’m fine.
Wellio, enough rambling unedited posting from work for today. It’s Friday! Have a fabulous weekend!
Tschuss!!

Ahh, freedom! Having a car is a wonderful thing! Even after not driving in Korea at all, with a few months of German driving under your belt, you will be a stock car racer, girl! I pity you having to teach your girls to drive there, though. Perhaps you can import your dad to do that for you while you and your hubby go off on a weekend adventure…just saying…

I cant take Tylenol PM or NyQuil or even Aleve. I’m a walking zombie for far too long after. I’d much rather have my alertness and be stuffed up, thank you very much.:)
