so. news.
While I lied about posting Thursday with my news, it was only because the news was fabulous, and I was out doing a bit of celebrating.
Remember way back a few months ago and I was studying for my next stripe? And all I did was study and it was driving me crazy? Wellllll…the crazy was totally worth it, because results got released yesterday and I made my next stripe! And I would like to take a moment to brag here…this was only my first time testing, and I was the 5th selectee out of 144.
All of that is probably a lot of gibberish to anyone that’s not in the military, but the bottom line is I made my next stripe, even though I can’t put it on until next July, and it fucking rocks. Hi, raise.
Conveniently, both the girls were not home last night, so a group of us went out for a bit of revelry. Said revelry lasted until four this morning. Yeah. It was totally fun but, you guys, 4 in the morning. I am tiredy.
Now, I have to go. The fabulous Angel tagged me for an interesting meme, and it’s going to take some time to mull over. Plus…tiredy.

Goddamn I swear I checked this yesterday and was still waiting for news and here I am like the last one ever to read. Damn. But anyway, have you noticed it’s like only ONE MORE WEEK and YOU ARE HERE!?! I’ve noticed, just in case you haven’t. And Yay for stripes! Whoo hoo!
