whatever, me

Tag: Uncategorizedammogirl @ 6:34 pm

Two things:  I passed the test, and…I bought Rock Band!  Yay for impulse purchases! I don’t actually HAVE it right now, since I had to order it from Amazon, but still!  Rock Band!  The girls and I had a fight over the drums, but since I am supreme ruler of the house, I won the dibs.  When it finally gets here I’ll make some videos and post them.  Perhaps I will even provide autographs.

So, I stopped taking the Ambien on  Monday night, because…well, I don’t know why, actually.  I questioned myself all that night and last night too, as I lay in bed staring into the dark.  Apparently not sleeping is one of the side effects when you stop taking sleep meds, go figure.  Which…I mean, if people are having problems sleeping to the extent that they need sleeping pills, why would the manufacturer make said sleeping pills with a time limit on how long you can take them?  I want to take them forever!  Anyway, hopefully once my withdrawal symptoms taper off I’ll be fine.  Right?  RIGHT?

Whatever, I want to talk about something else.  Oh I made chili tonight, and I’m about to get all crazy with those hardcore chili lovers out there and tell you how I make The Best Chili Ever.  One can black beans, one can navy beans, two cans kidney beans, all drained; one big can diced tomatoes, one cup water, one bag Morningstar Farms fake meat, one package chili seasoning.  That’s it!  I know it goes against every rule of secret ingredient chili but I just don’t know what to tell you.  It’s easy and it’s delicious.  And you can make it as hot as you want.  Personalize it!  Or don’t even make it.  I don’t care!  I just wanted to tell you about it.

For the last ten minutes I’ve been trying to type this post while IMing with John and talking on the phone with my seester and it’s a little hard.  Everything keeps getting mixed up and I keep typing things in the wrong place and I have to watch American Idol anyway, so.  See you.

Tschuss!!

What, you didn’t call dibs on the mic? I got my rock band set up last night and tried it out, and my conclusion? AWESOME! I think you can rock out with people on Xbox live too, not sure though.

I think it took me about 2 days after stopping Ambien to get back to normal, normal of course being kind of crappy.

I loves me some chili. My secret ingredient - dried chipotle peppers, canned work too though. oh oh oh and beer! Beer in chili is delicious. Actually I pretty much like all chili.

Rock Band rocks. The drums are H.A.R.D. - beware! And you can play with other people on XBox Live (other people like meeeee!).

Sorry about the Ambien. Hope a new solution presents itself soon.

What I really wanna know is: did you make cornbread to go with that chili? Love chili - especially the second day. Yum!

FG - Oh, the mic is all mine. I didn’t even have to say anything, everyone just knows. I’m going to be like Phil Collins! I love chipotle peppers! Your chili sounds much more complicated than mine but chipotle peppers and beer? Yum!

Kari- Thanks for the heads up. It’s a good thing I have innate musical ability and coordination and I’m sure I’ll be able to conquer them immediately!

Oh, and, for both FG and you: WE ARE SO DOING BATTLE OF THE BANDS!
