oops

Tag: Uncategorizedammogirl @ 6:01 pm

I’m quite certain I accidently took 3 times the dosage of Zoloft I’m supposed to take last night.  I know!  I’m so dumb.  And NO, I didn’t do it purposefully.  What happened was, I had tennis late last night, and when I got home I was immediately caught up in this book I’m reading.  It took me some time to get in the shower, and as I was lotioning up my face I realized I hadn’t taken my meds, and headed downstairs.

Now, you must understand I was COMPLETELY ENGULFED in this book, and as a result, that’s all I had running through my mind as I headed to the kitchen.  I noticed the cat has been eating my spiderplant so that it’s all cropped down, and had a drink of water, and then headed out the door.

As I walked out, I thought, “WAIT.  Did I take my pill?”  And for the life of me, I COULD NOT REMEMBER.  I could vaguely remember maybe, perhaps, possibly taking a pill, but when I looked in the bottle, there was still a half-tab in there, half-tabs being my dosage.  I tried to count down how many pills I had left, but quickly gave that up and decided I had NOT taken a pill, and took the half-tab.

Are you following me so far?  I know it’s confusing.

As I walked upstairs it came to me that what I might have done is grabbed the bottle, meaning to take a whole pill out to split it, got distracted by the plant, and took the whole pill, and THEN, took another half.  I figured it wasn’t going to kill me, because, I mean, it was only 150mg, and that’s a regular dose for some people.  So I went to bed.

This morning, after spending an awful night doing everything but sleeping, I felt hazy, and queasy, and exhausted, and like I hadn’t woke up yet.  My hands were shaking like crazy, and that was really annoying because putting mascara on when your hand is waving around like a…something, is very, very hard.

I looked up Zoloft on drugs.com when I got to work and after brushing up on the side-effects of taking Zoloft for the first time or increasing your dosage, I confirmed that indeed, I am totally negligent with my meds.

This week has been really hectic, because of classes starting, and me being lazy, and dumb enough to start reading the first part of an amazingly good trilogy.  But it’s almost over, so that’s okay.  There’s a party this weekend for me and one of my coworkers who put on his MSgt stripe the same day as me, and I challenged like, the whole world to Rock Band.  I don’t know what I was thinking.

Tschuss!!

was there a post between “bug bug bug” and “oops?” Or did I just imagine it? Maybe I’m losing it, and I can’t even blame it on super-Zoloft. Do you have someone else there with a drum set? This past weekend we had a bunch of drum-offs and sing-offs at my house. I did not participate in the sing-offs. Can I ask any more questions? Maybe I can leave a comment longer than your whole post. Maybe not.

Zoloft always made me sleep like a baby. Lately I’ve been missing my zoloft, but I think it’s just work. I’ve actually thought about going back to the doc but keep thinking I can just work through it.

Sigh, guess I’ll have a beer instead:)

FG – 1. There was not a post between bug bug bug and oops. 2. You imagined it. 3. I do have access to a second drum set, that’s a good suggestion! I didn’t even think about actual drum-offs, just me beating everyone at drumming. 4. I’m sure you could.

Chris – Ugh, it’s too early in the game for me to think about just working through it. I’m enjoying this for now :)

Rodney – I know, and I also left out the exclamation marks, but I was tired and couldn’t do the extra keystrokes. Don’t contemplate–just do it! You’ll love it! I’m actually reading the Twilight Saga by Stephanie Myers. I know I know, it’s a ‘young adult’ series, but I wanted to see what the fuss was about–and it’s seriously been a LONG time since I’ve been so sucked in to a book. Young adult or not, they are just really well-written books. They’re pretty romance-y, so I doubt you’d like them, since you’re a boy and all.

AG – Great, I’m losing it.

Rodney – you may want to go straight for ROCK BAND 2!!! which comes out in two months. Word on the street is a lot of minor annoyances are fixed, and the larger annoyance of equipment failures will be improved. On the other hand, used ROCK BAND!!! sets can be had for <$100.

Let me try to get this right. You can not be sure how much Zoloft you have in your system and you go to work and ship bombs around europe and the mid-east. There must be a poster here. I think I recall something on this order.Sleep tight tonight your Air Force is at work……………

  7. ammogirl says:

FG – I think you should buy me ROCK BAND 2!!!.

Frank – Well, when you put it that way, yes. But the reality is I sit at a desk and monitor a database and an email inbox and occasionally–very, very occasionally, like, once a year, tell the various bases around Europe to pack up some items and ship it somewhere else. Most of the time I’m walking around the office socializing.

Our tax dollars at work… sorry, couldn’t resist.

  9. Rodney says:

The air force is all about socializing… its only been since they started force shaping that I’ve actually had to work lol. . I’ll pobably just wait till ROCK BAND 2!!! comes out to get the new system, if its not like the Wii I should be able to find it fairly easily lol
