I know, I KNOW.  I totally owe a post, but I am SO TIRED.  I’m getting there, though.  I wish I knew how to insert pictures in my posts without the layout getting all jacked.  We took lots of pictures…actually…maybe we didn’t.  But we did take some!  And I will post them, and a semi-descriptive account of my vacay soon.

Funny thing about not using your computer for three weeks, you kind of forget what it was like to be so addicted.  Getting back into the swing of things is hard…I’m way behind on reading ANYTHING, like email.  And other blogs.   And less important things, like the news.  Kidding!  I’m kidding.  I am dreading going back to work tomorrow though, because I was supposed to be checking my work email, and I sort of didn’t.  I can’t help it!  I’m not hardcore.  Also, I’m a firm believer in the Work Will Get Done With or Without Me theory.  If the military has taught me anything, it’s that.  We’re always either just getting to a base, getting ready to leave a base, or have just left a base, but the questions get answered and the work gets done regardless.  In other words, me not checking my work email = life will go on. 

Oh, 2009 resolutions:  1.  lose the seven pounds I gained on my vacay.  2.  No more procrastination when it comes to my classes (frantic night-before paper writing is no longer allowed).  3.  Use the internet less.  4.  Cook more.

Okay, gotta run.  Resolution #3, ya know.
