It’s almost 95% official that the girls and I have to stay here until John gets his orders one million years from now.  OMG you guys I was SO…CLOSE…

Tomorrow my assignment list comes out too, which is awful timing, and will just make me mope around the office demanding sympathy (which I will not get, but will try for anyway).  Probably it will be filled with magical bases made of fairy dust.  At the rate this is going, by the time I end up at the base John to which is eventually going, I’ll be ready to retire.  What?  It’s so true!  I have three years and one week left until 20, and say it takes 1.5 years until we leave, and holy crap I AM SO CLOSE!  

We didn’t do anything this entire past weekend, since it was the end of spring break and the girls were frantically getting in last minute spring break stuff in.  Actually, we did go to the Kino and see Fast and Furious 3 or 4 or whichever one.   We took Taylor and her (boy) friend, who really is just a friend and that’s okay because BOYS ARE BAD.  We try to give Taylor a hard time about having a boy best friend but she’s pretty unflappable in the face of anything and only gets dramatically upset and weird things like hot air in the car and eyebrow waxes at new places.  Unlike Lindsey who gets dramatically upset about everything, but only between the hours of 7-8 am and 8-9 pm.

…whoops!  Lindsey put on Saving Private Ryan and I got completely sucked in.  Ah well, I gotta write a paper anyway.  Classes started up today–sigh.
